are getting married.
We're getting married, and throwing a proper party to celebrate with all our nearest and dearest. Expect live music, DJs, street food, a lot of lights and a lot of love. Bring your dancing shoes.
We'd spotted each other in the Stew & Oyster bar (now Salt) at Calls Landing in Leeds, but neither of us did anything about it. In the end it took Tinder to get us on a first date in July 2014. So yes, dating apps do work. You heard it here first.
Six months later we'd moved in together, because why wait? Ethel the French bulldog arrived that same year and has been running the house ever since. We bought our first home in 2018, Ernie joined the family in 2022, and in 2024 we moved to our forever home in Thwaites Brow.
On 1 July 2028 it'll be fourteen years. We can't think of a better way to mark it than with all of you, a lot of lights and a very full dance floor.

CityPlenty of city-centre hotels with direct trains to Bingley. Just keep an eye on the last train home.
Doors open at 3pm and the ceremony starts at 3:30pm, so aim to be in your seat by 3:15. Like any good theatre, latecomers will be let in at a suitable moment.
Late. We'll confirm the exact time nearer the day so you can plan your lift home.
Whatever you'll feel great dancing in. Dress up, have fun with it. There's no theme and nothing you need to buy.
Yes. Street food from around 6pm, and nobody leaves hungry. Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP.
The arts centre has its own bars, so you'll never be far from a drink. We'll let you know nearer the time what's on us.
During the party, go for it. During the ceremony, please keep phones away. Our photographer has it covered.
The arts centre's own car park is right next to the building but only has about 30 spaces, so it fills fast. Wellington (BD16 2NA) and Queen Street (BD16 2JS) car parks are a short walk away. They're all pay and display on a Saturday, and town-centre traffic can be slow at weekends, so give yourself extra time.
Bingley station is about three minutes away on foot. Leave by the main entrance, head towards the bar opposite and take the cobbled street to its right. The arts centre is at the top, across the pedestrian crossing.
The last trains usually leave Bingley around 11:30pm. For taxis, the local numbers are under Travel: book ahead, as Saturday nights get busy.
Yes. The main entrance is easy to get into, there's room for wheelchairs in the main theatre and there are accessible toilets. Upstairs is reached by a lift through a side door, where staff will meet you. If you have any access needs at all, put them in the note on your RSVP and we'll sort it with the venue before the day.
There are two Blue Badge bays in the arts centre car park (3m by 5m). They can't be booked, so if you need one, tell us and we'll do what we can.
Yes. It's a theatre and a party, so expect stage lighting, possibly strobe and haze, and live music and DJs later on. If that's a problem for you, let us know and we'll make sure you know when it's coming.
Assistance dogs are welcome at the arts centre. Just bear in mind it'll get loud once the music starts.
If your children's names are on your ticket, absolutely.
If you've got one, you'll see the option when you RSVP. The names on your ticket are who we've planned for, so if something's changed, message us.
The date's on your ticket. The sooner the better, as it helps us plan food and numbers.
Just open your invite link again and update it before the RSVP deadline. After that, message us directly.
Honestly, you being there is the gift. Details to follow if you'd like to do something.
Message Joe or Aaron. No question is too small.
